There are three distinct varieties of this animal: the Grevy's, Plains and the Mountain Zebra. The Plain Zebra is the most widely spread, and has more subspecies, and the populations of the other two have slumped over the last several decades.

Zebras do closely resemble horses, but they are considerably stockier and more compact. They are not as easy to tame, and are well accustomed areas with a lot of grass and shrubs. Their well developed digestive tract allows them to intake large quantities of food. An exotic breeder may take a picture of a new baby.
